Cleveland Centenary Lodge 6249 – Worshipful Brother Peter Marsh 50th Anniversary in Freemasonry. W Bro Peter Marsh was presented with his 50 year certificate from W Bro Paul Hayton  of Ashbrooke Lodge 9619. W Bro Peter requested a White Linen Night for the evening to bring family and friends together to help him celebrate his 50th Year Anniversary in Freemasonry, the December meeting at the Festive board had carols with a fun Christmas quiz and most importantly a raffle to raise funds for the South Cleveland Heart Fund and at our February meeting of Cleveland Centenary Lodge 6249 to be held…
The regular meeting of North York Lodge (No. 602) made way for a double celebration on Friday 22nd February. First, the lodge was pleased to add a new member, as Laird Skye was initiated. The lodge was also well attended to celebrate 50 years in Freemasonry for Dixie Thomas following Laird's initiation. Malcolm Dabbs was guest of honour to present the certificate to Dixie. The Provincial meetings for Craft and Royal Arch Chapter took place, this year, at a new venue, York Racecourse.The weather was brilliant, the sun was shining and the Brethren and Companions gathered in vast numbers.This may have been as a result of the attandance, of our special guest on the day, Sir David Wootton, who had come to support his own County of Yorkshire.
